You are invited to join us on the weekend of
July 30-31, 2022 to help us celebrate the church’s 250th Anniversary as we gather to praise God for all of the work he has done through the ministry of Harrold Zion.
Our celebration will include activities on both Saturday and Sunday, and we would love for you to join us for one or both days.
Saturday activities include self-guided tours of the old churches and other church related sites in the afternoon. A picnic, with food and beverages provided, will begin at Harrold Zion at 4:30, with music and fellowship to follow. A Vesper Service will take place at the church at 8:00PM that evening. Sunday worship will take place at 10:00AM, with a catered luncheon at noon, and historical discussion to follow. Historical pictures, literature, and other memorabilia and artifacts will be on display in the Sunday School rooms on both days.
Our desire is to glorify God in our celebration. In this regard, our worship will be enriched by your participation, since you are part of God’s ministry at Harrold Zion over the years. We would love to have you join us in praising the Lord for all that He has done and will continue to do in the future of Harrold Zion. Please notify an active member of the congregation or contact the church office via phone or email if you plan to attend so that we can provide enough food for everyone. If our fundraisers raise enough money, then the celebration meals will be free-will donations.

Our Mission
Harrold Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church is a family of believers who seek to provide an open and caring environment where all are welcome and can experience the hope and love of Jesus Christ. As members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, we believe the Lutheran Confessions to be a faithful interpretation of Scripture, and our ministry revolves around the “Word and Sacraments”.
We are committed to being good stewards of God’s creation by sharing the good news of Jesus Christ through word and deed. Thus we respond to human need with acts of love and compassion, as we bear witness to the love we have first received from God through Jesus Christ.
